Telehealth & Remote Offerings
How does it work?
When my clinic temporarily closed at the beginning of the pandemic, I continued to practice via secure video conference, with surprising success. Now that I’m back to in-person treatments, I’ve continued to offer remote care. This allows me see folks with acute infectious illness, new parents who may not be venturing out or have childcare, as well as those who prefer the convenience of telehealth.
Traditional East Asian Medicine encompasses many modalities: While acupuncture is perhaps the best known, it is only one of them. Herbs, diet, moxibustion, therapeutic movement (qigong, taichi/taiji, etc.), and lifestyle are all equally important. All of these can be prescribed or coached via video.
I'm offering two different types of appointments:
1. Assessment and individualized self-treatment instruction—or teaching parents to treat their child or baby—using moxibusion, qigong, massage of acupuncture points, and diet, with optional herbal consultation (herbs will be shipped directly to you from the dispensary).
2. Follow-up herbal assessment (required prior to refilling an herbal formula) or other quick check-in for current patients.
